Tasks as simple as housework and climbing the stairs used to be daunting. Now I can ascend steps with ease instead of having to rest after each one, and the severe knee pain I struggled with before my LAP-BAND® Procedure has improved by 95 percent. I can even shop for hours without getting tired—much to my husband’s dismay.
My self-esteem has improved with my image as well. It’s been 39 years since I wore my wedding dress, but I am back to the size I was on that day. I’ve lost 120 pounds since my 2008 surgery. I get constant praise from my friends, my family is awed and my husband is so proud of me.
