With the LAP-BAND® Procedure, I lost 109 pounds in less than a year, but the best part is what it has done for my energy levels. Before the surgery, I would sit and watch my kids play, but now I can join right in. It’s been wonderful to actively take part in their games instead of just observing.
The support groups have been so encouraging; it’s nice to interact with people who can relate to my situation. My family has been incredibly supportive as well. They’ve seen what a positive effect the surgery has had on my life. I even have several friends and family members who are taking the steps they need to undergo their own LAP-BAND® Procedure.
