In August of 2007 I was borderline type 2 diabetic and I realized I had to make some changes. My doctor recommended Dr. Lee and the LAP-BAND® procedure. By September I had started the program and my life had completely changed.
The thorough process started with a complete physical and consultations with a dietitian who helped me alter my eating habits. The entire staff was very respectful and made me feel comfortable with the whole process. Within the year I had lost 112 pounds and felt great! My wife has told me that she enjoys being with me again, my children feel like they have their dad back and life is easier to live.
My journey has been an inspiration to many of the people around me. In fact, a coworker of mine decided to look into LAP-BAND® surgery for himself after witnessing how weight loss has improved my life.
